FF Transcode conversion fails
If a transcoding fails, errors are reported in the Job information window (click on the “i” icon in the Queue, next to the job that failed), in the “Tasks log” tab.
If you have a problem with a conversion in general, please send a message to our support contact with a copy of this information (select the text and copy-paste it in the mail, it is easier than sending screenshots!).
– If you see “Too many packets buffered for output stream 0:1.”, it means that the transcoder’s cannot read enough information in its internal memory before starting the conversion. You can increase this by copying this line in the “Advanced options”, under “Extra output options”:
-max_muxing_queue_size 9999
– If you see the error “rps 0 invalid” when transcoding TIF sequences, you are encountering an FFmpeg bug. The solution is to install another version.
We know the bug happens with version 6 and 6.1, so for the time being, go back to an older version. The latest known to work is version 5.1.2, which can be downloaded here:
https://github.com/GyanD/codexffmpeg/releases/tag/5.1.2
Other older versions can also be found here, if needed: https://github.com/GyanD/codexffmpeg/releases/
