Flare visible when scanning low light films (Pictor 2019 model)

Problem: When scanning low light films, sometimes a flare is visible in the captured frame.

The blue flare is caused by the lens barrel. Because of this effect we changed the lens design of our Pictor 2021 model. The lens of the 2021 model is a complete different mount and does not fit in the 2019 model.

Scanning at f2 aperture at the lens will remove or reduce this flare.
