Attempting to record audio slows down, freezes or crashes Cine2Digits
If recording audio fails when capturing in AVI or DPX, resulting in a slow down, a freeze or even a crash of Cine2Digits, it is very likely a wrong setting in Windows that does not allow Cine2Digits to access the audio device. This can come up after a Windows update, as some settings are automatically changed without warning.
To fix the issue, go to Windows settings, then to “Privacy”.
Select the “Microphone” options on the left and toggle “Allow desktop apps to access your microphone”, making sure Cine2Digits is in the list.
